Ability to send newsletters to users based on events, other properties - ie. Ad hoc segments on a newsletter
Currently can only target a new group of customers based on a segment. Would love to be able to send a newsletter ot users based on events, other properties other than a segment

Aaron None Currently in Vero to send a newsletter to customers based on which events a customer has triggered or on which properties they have, you create a segment with conditions such as 'has property X' or 'has triggered event Y in X days', and then use that segment in your newsletter. Do I understand correctly that you're requesting the ability to use those conditions without having to create a segment first?

Rory Colsell: hi Rory! Yep, that's it. right now if I have ad-hoc newsletters to send, I have to go and create a custom segment for the newsletter which is an extra step. Additionally, I'm creating one-time use segments and I've been trying to keep my segment list clean.

Aaron None: Makes perfect sense. Thanks for clarifying. This is something we've been talking about internally recently. One thing we need to do as part of this is handle the calculation time of the segment prior to sending. Do you think that in order to send the newsletter 'immediately' that the conditions would need to be calculated before hand (locked in) or perhaps that it would send only once calculations have completed?
