Thanks for your comment Robert ONeill. Thats correct, this has been on our list for over year and unfortunately it's not yet live. That said, we have time set aside this quarter to run a design sprint determining exactly how we'll implement this.
We're keen to make sure we implement this in a way that complements the real time event stream that Vero is built around, so it deserves a lot of consideration (it touches many parts of our product). We're very aware it's a popular request so we will leave an update on this ticket as soon as we've made progress, we'll also likely be looking for feedback around that time.

Hey @Jake Tusing, thanks for this and your detailed response. I agree with everything you say here.
We have not forgotten this request. For various reasons you are right it has not been prioritized, and a BIG part of that historically has been the way our system was previously archived.
Fortunately, we've made a lot of changes over the past two years with the introduction of Vero Connect (about to be released as Vero 2.0) and are in a better position to tackle this.
We've recently been working on SMS (#3 most popular request) as this unlocks a lot of channels. Tackling this, along with other new triggers, such as email events, is something we're currently designing (literally over the last few weeks).
Hope to have more updates throughout the rest of 2024.

In the next couple of days I will merge this into the other ticket (I saw you commented: https://vero.featurebase.app/p/trigger-workflows-when-user-enters-segment) as that will ensure it gets the right number of votes, but rest assured your comment has been seen!
